This is concerning. It’s becoming a new reoccurring thing in felices pictures that her chest bones are sticking out. Whether they’re actually sticking out or she’s editing her pictures to make it look that way is debatable but either way, its alarming. She’s either losing weight or feels the need to make herself appear thinner. It’s honestly sad.
It’s also none of your fucking business.

oh hey, you're into retouching?! i'm a photography student! and retouching is my newfound love. unfortunately, i shoot mostly editorial stuff, so i never get to practice. but i'm rather good! we should share photoshop secrets :)
My answer:I wish I were into retouching professionally, but I’m not. :( I really would like to go back to school for it, but I just don’t have the funds and finding a job where I live is nearly impossible. And sure! If you ever need any tips just give me a tap, I know quite a bit after fussing with Photoshop for five years. <3

but don't think for a second that she doesn't know those images are triggering. she tells people "unfollow me" because she recognizes that herself. but, as mentioned, the posting images of herself seem to be, in my opinion, related to her own recovery. anyway, if you've never been anorexic, you wouldn't ever understand. this isn't hate- just trying to be informative from a third-party perspective.
My answer:I wouldn’t call myself anorexic, because I’ve never been skinny, but I do struggle a lot with food and weight and have been told I do have an eating disorder. I can understand a certain perspective, but yours, probably not. I apologize if what I said seemed naive. :) Thank you for helping me understand in a rational sense. <3

your opening statement to your last post is incorrect, and may be the reason it's getting reblogged hatefully. having suffered (and recovered) from anorexia myself, the pictures felice posts are triggering. she knows she looks slender. but i'm a huge fan of felice, and i know she's not doing it purposefully, or to fuel anybody else's disorders. if anything, she posts them to cope with hers. i bet the response she receives helps her eat throughout the day, being reassured that she can.
My answer:You make a good point. I guess my point is, she doesn’t intentionally try to trigger people.
Let me just start by saying: you cannot trigger someone else’s eating disorder by simply posting pictures of yourself and being thin. Can someone internalize that by comparing themselves to the person in question? Yes. But pointing fingers at someone because they are thin and beautiful is absolutely ridiculous.
Bullying someone who is thin is EXACTLY THE SAME THING as bullying someone who is big. There are legitimate disorders that cause people to lose weight so drastically. Don’t believe me? Google ‘body dysmorphic disorder’. Surely if you can spend your precious time updating invasive, pathetic blogs about innocent people who suffer from anorexia, then surely you can take a few seconds to do that.
Anyone who does this should be ashamed of themselves. This girl isn’t glamorizing anorexia; but you’re glamorizing bullying.

If you tell a Muslim woman that her hijab (which she chooses to wear on her own terms) is oppressing her, you are wrong.
If you suggest to a woman that she doesn’t respect herself because of what she wears/does with her body, you are wrong.
